ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Full Time Compliance Coordinator to join our team in a dynamic, regulated club environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, a genuine interest and passion in compliance and governance and a desire to build or further develop a career in AML/CTF and club compliance.

The role is primarily focused on AML/CTF and regulatory compliance, while also providing exposure to broader compliance monitoring and control activities across the Group. Working closely with the Group AML/CTF Compliance Officer, you will support day-to-day compliance operations, monitoring activities, and record management within a structured escalation framework.

This is a hands-on supporting role offering strong development opportunities and exposure to best-practice compliance frameworks in a regulated environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Group’s AML/CTF Program, in line with legislative requirements and AUSTRAC guidance
• Assist with Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD), including customer risk profiling and periodic reviews
• Maintain AML/CTF registers, logs, and supporting documentation
• Assist with transaction monitoring activities, including reviewing reports relating to gaming activity, stored funds, payouts, and exceptions
• Support the preparation and organisation of information for suspicious matter assessments and reporting processes
• Assist with Source of Funds and Source of Wealth enquiries and supporting documentation
• Support compliance with NSW gaming legislation and Liquor & Gaming NSW regulatory requirements
• Assist with compliance oversight of promotions, loyalty programs, raffles, and trade promotions
• Coordinate record keeping for Player Activity Statement (PAS) requests and related obligations
• Support audits, inspections, regulatory correspondence, and remediation tracking
• Assist with internal compliance checks, monitoring activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide support across broader compliance and control monitoring activities (such as transaction integrity checks, reconciliations, and access reviews) as reasonably required
• Support the coordination and administration of AML/CTF and compliance training programs

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Essential:

• Experience working in a regulated environment (clubs, gaming, hospitality, financial services or similar)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity
• Clear written communication skills and the ability to follow structured procedures

Desirable:

• Exposure to AML/CTF obligations, AUSTRAC reporting or transaction monitoring
• Experience within NSW registered clubs
• Familiarity with audits, independent reviews or broader compliance projects
• Exposure to financial controls or operational compliance monitoring

Qualifications (desirable):

• Tertiary qualifications in compliance, risk, law, business or a related field
• AML/CTF or compliance-related training or certification
