Workers Hubertus located next to the new Western Sydney International Airport in Luddenham, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will be working with the wider kitchen team , ensuring food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard while maintaining food safety, cleanliness and efficient kitchen operations. Part time role working min 8 hours a week upto 37 hours a week).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to achieve service and operational objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Cook in a similar professional kitchen role (desirable 1 years experience)
• Relevant culinary qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (desirable or working towards)
• Strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills.
• A sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe kitchen practices 
• The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
• Able to work a roster Wednesday to Sunday including evenings, weekends and some public holidays as required - min 8 hours a week with max 37 hours a week
• Own transport (essential)
